The Institute provides information and referral for dyslexia testing, characteristics of dyslexia, and recommended readings. Volunteers provide general information about dyslexia, preparation for college, and related issues. Provides outreach and tutoring in primarily the Orton-Gillingham approach for children and adults 7 and older with dyslexia. Sliding scale fees are available.

The Indiana School for the Deaf is a fully accredited school for deaf and hard of hearing students In nursery school through high school. They provide services to approximately 320 students enrolled on campus and over 300 students through Outreach Services. The school promotes academic & social excellence for Deaf and hard of hearing students through a Bilingual/Bicultural environment. This philosophy provides language acquisition and facilities proficiency in two languages, American Sign Language (ASL) and English.
